Exchange Traded Fund(ETF): Börsengehandelter Investmentfond
Ein ETF ist ein Fond, der wie Wertpapiere und Aktien direkt an der Börse gehandelt werden kann. Die Aktien in einem ETF werden im Gegensatz zum klassischen Fond nicht aktiv von einem Manager ausgewählt, sondern anhand eines Basisindex bestimmt. In einem DAX-ETF sind somit die 30 Dax Aktien in identischer Gewichtung enthalten. Steigt eine neue Aktie in den DAX auf, wird diese auch in den ETF aufgenommen. Je nach Wahl des zugrundeliegenden Indizes kann auf einfache Weise in bestimmte Märkte, Länder oder Branchen investiert werden.
Hinzu kommt, dass Studien gezeigt haben, dass 86% alle aktiv gemanagten Fonds ihren Vergleichsindex nicht schlagen können. Durch die Investition in einen ETF hat man die Rendite des Indexes gesichert, und zahlt im Vergleich weniger Gebühren.

Vorteile von ETFs:
- Ein ETF erzielt immer die Rendite des Indizes.
- ETFs kopieren einen Index und benötigen daher keinen teuren Manager der Aktien auswählt. Dies führt zu sehr geringen Gebühren. (≈0.5% im Jahr)
- ETFs setzen sich aus einer Vielzahl an Unternehmen zusammen. Somit kann auch mit geringen Beträgen schon breit gestreut angelegt werden, um das Risiko zu verteilen.
- ETFs eignen sich besonders für Anfänger, da nur ein Index und keine einzelnen Unternehmen ausgewählt werden müssen.
Investieren in ETFs per Sparplan:
Da ETFs den gleichen Schwankungen ausgesetzt sind wie der Index, bieten sich diese vor allem als langfristige Investitionen an. Ein ETF bietet den Vorteil das der Anleger ohne große Analyse einzelner Unternehmen investieren kann, solange man von dem Index überzeugt ist. Es empfiehlt sich ein Sparplan, über den monatlich ein fester Betrag angelegt wird.
Kauft man sich durch einen Sparplan schrittweise in den Aktienmarkt ein profitiert man vom sogenannten Cost-Average-Effekt, also dem Durchschnittskosten-Effekt. Dadurch kann zusätzlich die komplizierte Wahl des richtigen Market-Timings, also des richtigen Kaufzeitpunktes, umgangen werden. Wird monatlich ein fester Betrag in den ETF investiert gleicht sich der Einkaufspreis langfristig dem Durchschnittlichen Preis an. Wurde der passende ETF ausgewählt bietet ein ETF-Sparplan die Möglichkeit ohne weiteren Aufwand, und ohne emotional beeinflusste Kaufentscheidungen, regelmäßig an der Börse zu investieren.

ETFs für die langfristige Anlage:
In welche ETFs investiert werden soll hängt natürlich stark von den eigenen Präferenzen ab. Für den Beginn ist eine Investition in den MSCI World Index interessant.
Dieser Index enthält die 1600 größten Unternehmen aus 23 Industrieländern und bildet somit die gesamte Weltwirtschaft ab. Da der Index den gesamten Markt ziemlich genau abbildet dient dieser als Vergleichsindex für viele aktiv gemanagte Aktienfonds. Der MSCI World erzielte in den letzten 15 Jahren eine jährliche Rendite von durchschnittlich ≈8%.
Bei einer Investition in den MSCI World muss man nur von einem Wachstum der Weltwirtschaft überzeugt sein und sich dabei nicht auf einzelne Länder oder Branchen festlegen. Grade für die langfristige Investition bietet diese breite Streuung Vorteile und kann Risiken mindern, da nicht absehbar ist welche Branchen und Märkte sich am besten entwickeln werden.
Gerne wird der MSCI World mit dem MSCI Emerging Markets im Verhältnis 80/20 oder 75/25 kombiniert. Der MSCI EM enthält 850 Aktien aus Schwellenländern wie China oder Indien. Der ETF bietet also etwas höhere Wachstumschancen bei ebenfalls höherer Volatilität (Schwankung).

Fazit:
ETFs bieten grade für Anfänger und langfristig orientierte Anleger eine einfache Möglichkeit regelmäßig Geld zu investieren. Auch bei geringen Anlagebeträgen bietet sich ein ETF durch die geringen Kosten und seine breite Streuung an.
Ich empfehle ETFs besonders als Einstieg in den Aktienmarkt, da ohne großes Vorwissen investiert werden kann. Dabei lernt man bereits die Grundlagen des investieren und kann sich anschließend mit einem kleinen Teil des Portfolios an der Auswahl von einzelnen Aktien probieren.
Um von den geringen Kosten eines ETFs zu profitieren solltet ihr darauf achten das euch beim Kauf nicht zu hohe kosten entstehen.
